Through its Economic Development Loan Program, the Iowa Finance Authority issues tax-exempt bonds for a wide range of projects, including those that expand and improve health care services, industrial development and housing.

IFA issues bonds and loans the proceeds to private entities or organizations for eligible purposes. The interest on the bonds is tax-exempt, taxable or a combination of both.
