Consumers rely on real estate professionals and lenders to provide information and assist them during the home purchase process.IFA Participating Lenders are expected to answer borrower questions about available programs, complete the required loan and bond documents and keep the borrower apprised of the loan status. Specific lender responsibilities include:
Completing applications for FirstHome and FirstHome Plus loans
Registering FirstHome and FirstHome Plus loans to lock in the interest rate and reserve funds
Providing timely completion of required loan and bond documents
Submitting the loan to the master servicer for purchase
