Iowa Finance Authority renews program to assist Habitat for Humanity
Many Iowa families will eventually open doors to new homes thanks to a joint effort between the Iowa Finance Authority (IFA) and Habitat for Humanity of Iowa (HFH-IA). The IFA board of directors announced recently that it will make available up to $2 million in low-interest loans for Habitat affiliates to produce housing for low- and moderate-income Iowans.

Agency collects homelessness data
The Iowa Finance Authority will lead a statewide point-in-time study of homelessness in Iowa Tuesday. Hundreds of shelters and service providers across the state are expected to complete surveys counting the number of people in their facilities or programs.
